The activity was under the DENR “Battle for Manila Bay” Project: Battle for Rivers and Esteros, which involves massive clean-up, rehabilitation, and preservation of Manila Bay and its abutting river systems. The inclement weather caused by Typhoon Tisoy did not stop the participants from undertaking the inspection which started at the Philippine Army compound and ended at the Philippine Navy grounds. Following the inspection, the group discussed the next steps based on the consolidated findings and recommendations.
