News & Event(s) | Erlito P. Saberola | 18 October 2022 | Print

NAMRIA officials and employees participated in the agency’s virtual fun run/walk and Zumba face-to-face challenges held from 03 to 30 September 2022. The virtual fun run/walk and Zumba dance workout were two of NAMRIA’s events conducted for the celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), which had the theme Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes.

One of the objectives of the month-long PCSA celebration was to promote employee health and wellness through engagement in physical activities, hence the conduct of the virtual running and walking, and Zumba dancing. These activities were also in support of the agency’s initiatives on mental health under the Morale and Welfare Program.

The NAMRIA runners who completed four weekly runs in the five- and three- kilometer distance runs each received a finisher’s shirt and badge, while the Zumba participants who attended and completed at least three weekly sessions each received a Zumba shirt. The events were hosted by the NAMRIA Active Group and supported by the sub-committee on Health and Wellness of the NAMRIA Morale and Welfare Program.
