A total of 107 lingkod bayani, 16 divisions, and nine sections of NAMRIA were recognized during the agency’s Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) virtual appreciation hour. The program which was conducted via Facebook Live on 30 September 2022 was NAMRIA’s culminating activity for the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) observance.

 

The awards presented were 73 Loyalty Awards, 17 Service Awards, three Posthumous Service Awards, three Career and Self Development Awards, one Employee Initiative/Innovation Award, one Client Service Award, eight Kakaiba-Ka Awards, three Special Awards, and 25 5S Awards.

 

In his opening remarks, PRAISE Chairperson and Hydrography Branch Officer in Charge-Dir., Capt. Antonio G. Valenzuela, Jr. congratulated the awardees who have exhibited exemplary efforts and loyalty to the agency. He also expressed his hope that the awardees would inspire others to deliver their best because "the accomplishments of our employees are also the accomplishments of NAMRIA."

 

 

NAMRIA Administrator, Usec. Peter N. Tiangco, PhD stated in his inspirational message that "working for the government is a lifelong vocation." Administrator Tiangco also reminded everyone that, "While we regularly subscribe to the events of the Civil Service Month every September, our sworn duties and responsibilities as lingkod bayani go beyond the month-long celebration."

 

 

The program concluded with a recorded special performance of the song "We Are Unity" by the NAMRIA Chorale.

 

The 122nd PCSA culminating activity, the PRAISE virtual appreciation hour, was hosted and facilitated by Ms. Ma. Jesabel M. Ramos, Ms. Mary Joy E. Sioting, and Ms. Annah Erania C. Masinas. It was organized by the Human Resources Management Section, Administrative Division-Support Services Branch and supported by the Geospatial Information Services Division-Geospatial Information System Management Branch.
