The National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) met with representatives of the Department of Transportation (DOTr)-Philippine Railways Institute (PRI) at the Boardroom of the NAMRIA Fort Andres Bonifacio Office, Taguig City on 13 August 2024. The main purpose of the meeting was to explore possible avenues for collaboration on geospatial information management.

To strengthen oceanographic data accuracy and operational efficiency, the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) conducted a comprehensive competency enhancement training for its new tide observers at the Ramada Manila Central in Binondo, Manila on 08-12 July 2024.

The National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), in collaboration with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), completed the second round of Basic Geographic Information System (GIS) training for Legazpi City, Albay, from 29 July to 02 August 2024, following a successful training on 05-09 June 2023. Nineteen middle-level and technical personnel selected by the city's local government participated in the activity.

Do you produce road maps?
NAMRIA produces topographic maps that are used as base maps for other thematic maps like land cover, land condition, land classification, cadastral, etc. In addition, we have digital data of road maps available. This data comes from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
